Rules for Exhibiting:

  1. Jefferson County Open Class is open to all residents of Jefferson County that are at least 15 years old and not a member of 4-H.
  2. Projects may be entered at Open Class Building on Saturday, July 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  All Flower and Garden entries will also be entered on Saturday this year.
  3. All exhibits must have been made during the past 3 years, except quilts, those must have been made during the past 5 years.
  4. Exhibits may be shown only one year and must be made by the exhibitor.
  5. All food items must be brought in a firm, non-returnable container, with your name, the name of your entry on the bottom, and a recipe card attached.  A portion of the cakes, pies, and breads will be returned after judging and can be picked up after 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8.
  6. An entry fee will be charged to help support the buying of trophies and advertisement.
